Paul and Ruella | Wedding

August 21, 2016 Captured Frames

I've always been inspired by other wedding photographers who blog and share how they see the wedding through their eyes. The ones I really look up to don't just take photos though, but strive to dive deeper into the beautiful relationships and families they encounter every wedding - and that is truly reflected in how intimate their photos are and their ability to capture the true raw emotions during the day (almost as if they were part of the family). So today I post my very first blog on Paul and Ruella's wedding on the 21st August 2016.

At the beginning of the year, I introduced myself to Ruella when I overheard a story that her fiance proposed to her standing on a tree branch. I thought to myself, "What an epic way to pop the question; I have to get to know this couple!" I seriously love adventures so I was hoping that their personalities would bring some excitement and zing into the day - and boy, was it a celebration!

Family and friends from all over the world -  interstate Australia, America, London and India (Just to name a few) celebrated mass at the beautiful church 'Our Lady of Dolours' in Chatswood. Fr Tom Stevens aka TRS aka "loose canon" as the celebrant gave a  homily on the beauty of marriage - and what a joy it was for him to be celebrating the sacrament of marriage for Paul and Ruella in the church in which he grew up in. Following this, we went out for a few more photos out at the gorgeous Lavender Bay looking out to our iconic Sydney Harbour bridge.

The party continued on at Jones Bay Wharf, Doltone House. Personally I love this part of the day where all that's left to do is let the emotions roll in the speeches and then party the night away. Truly some great words spoken throughout the day but I'll let our highlights video shine in that area.

Thank You Paul and Ruella for allowing us to capture this special day for you - you two are an absolute pleasure to be around and so glad that you're enjoying your married life together. I'm sure many people see the beauty of marriage in the relationship you have with each other.

Love,
Cyron and the Captured Frames Team
